I was so hyped up about Slim … to say the least! I was excited about the insulin resistance and how that might improve my body … the science all made sense … my body said it wanted it … so why in heaven’s name did I stop taking it, you might ask.
Artificial sweetener ...
I’m all for wholesome foods, eating close to the earth, not a fanatical purist … just close **wink** … very little, if anything, that might be created in a lab. That’s where I rely on my body once I’ve researched a product. And I do take a couple of products created in a lab … for many health related issues and I’ve seen the tangible benefits in my own body. That said, I stopped using Slim for one reason, it was that they added Sucralose to the formula. Very early in my life, I had allergic reactions to artificial sweeteners and have since watched very closely to make sure that they stayed out of my diet. The company did, however, offer an unsweetened unflavored version of the product and it was very similar to mixing water with clay … in all aspects … lumpy, cakey, distasteful, and found that I could not add anything that would make the powder palatable enough besides gagging it down.
In the meantime, I understand that the company has now replaced the Sucralose with Stevia … and when asked, my body still answers no … don’t know why … just know “been there, done that”.
So even though Slim might have done most of what it was said to do … even if I did not take it personally … I could not recommend something that I was not wholeheartedly vested in … and so I cancelled my distributorship and exited that relationship.
Ask me about Protandim and Laminine … any day … but prepare yourself to get excited … cause I LOVE LOVE LOVE these two … Protandim and Laminine totally complement each other, and I’ve witnessed so much improvement in my own body that I will never be without either of these two … evah! ♥
Love,
Karin
